A Japanese ceramic rice bowl featuring a hand-painted smiling cat motif, finished in warm red tones with a soft glossy glaze and fine crazing.
Perfect for serving rice, ochazuke, or small everyday meals. It also works well for yogurt, fruit, or simple desserts.
The motif is hand-painted, giving each piece a unique and expressive character. The surface has a gentle, hand-pressed texture, adding a subtle organic feel to the bowl.
A hidden detail at the base reveals a cat-shaped foot, adding a playful touch from every angle.
A matching design is also available in a tea cup.
Made in Hasami, Japan.
Each piece is handcrafted, so slight variations in colour, glaze, and detailing may occur. Small speckles or glaze variations are natural characteristics of the material and firing process.
