About Imabari Towels (今治タオル)

Imabari towels are made in Ehime Prefecture, Japan, a region with over 120 years of towel-making tradition. The Shigenobu River plays a key role - its exceptionally soft, pure water is ideal for washing, bleaching, and dyeing cotton, helping to create towels with unmatched softness and absorbency.

Each towel must pass a strict absorbency test. It must begin soaking water within five seconds to receive the official Imabari Towel certification. Made from premium cotton, these towels are light, fluffy, and gentle on the skin, maintaining their comfort and quality wash after wash.
