Each piece is unique. Please choose the one you like from the options shown.

The piece features the beautiful Aizome Suiteki (藍染水滴) design. Aizome refers to the traditional indigo colour used in Japanese dyeing, while suiteki means water droplets. Together, the name brings to mind the image of soft droplets resting on a gently coloured surface.Instead of a deep indigo tone, this cup shows a soft gradient from white to light blue.

These patterns are created through complex interactions of glaze, heat, and minerals during the firing process. Because the transformation happens naturally inside the kiln, no two pieces emerge exactly the same, making each cup uniquely its own.

Shinemon Kiln is widely known for its mastery of the yohen technique - a process where the glaze transforms unpredictably inside the kiln. During firing, heat, minerals, and atmosphere interact in ways that cannot be fully controlled, allowing nature to play a role in shaping the final result. Because of this, each piece develops its own unique pattern and character.
