A hand-painted Imari ware cup, finished in soft, earthy tones with a semi-gloss glaze.
The design features a spring landscape (sansui) motif, with flowing brushwork and layered colours that wrap gently around the piece. Each cup is painted by hand, so slight variations may occur.
The surface has a subtle texture that can still be felt after glazing, adding to its natural character.
A small indentation on the side sits comfortably in the hand, while the slightly wavy rim gives the piece a gentle, organic feel.
Perfect as a teacup for green tea or hojicha. It also works well for small desserts, yogurt, or everyday use.
Small speckles or glaze variations may appear. These are natural characteristics of the material and firing process.
Made in Imari, Japan.
