A small Japanese kinchaku pouch featuring an embroidered blue Mount Fuji beneath a red rising sun. The light blue body is finished with a contrasting red drawstring and cream-coloured interior.

Kinchaku (巾着) is a traditional Japanese drawstring pouch used for carrying small personal belongings. Mount Fuji has long been regarded as a sacred mountain in Japan and is an auspicious motif associated with good fortune and safety.

Part of the Enfuku collection, whose name combines en (縁), meaning meaningful connections, with fuku (福), meaning good fortune or blessings.

The compact pouch is suitable for storing jewellery, cosmetics, small accessories, wrapped sweets or other personal items. It can also be used as a small gift bag.

Made in Japan.
