This charming matcha bowl is like springtime in your hands. Hand-painted in the traditional Yoshidaya style, it features a sweet bird resting among blooming cherry blossoms, all set against a warm yellow glaze that brings the whole piece to life.

Made in Japan using Kutani-yaki techniques, this bowl blends rustic texture with fine detail — and no two are ever quite the same. In Japanese culture, birds often symbolise joy and good news, while sakura (cherry blossoms) remind us to enjoy life’s fleeting beauty.
