This kitchen cloth is crafted from mosquito net fabric, inspired by the traditional mosquito net-making in Nara, Kansai region of Japan. 

Kaya cloth is a traditional Japanese fabric originally used to make mosquito nets. It’s woven from natural materials, typically cotton or a blend of cotton and rayon derived from natural pulp, creating a soft, breathable, and lightweight texture. This fabric is highly absorbent and becomes softer with use, which makes it ideal for kitchen cloths, towels, and other household items. The open weave allows it to dry quickly and resist mildew, making it practical and sustainable for everyday use.
